HYBRID ONLY - Not a remote role

Dark Horse offers a great career path working with some of the top professionals in the industry. You’ll have the chance to be part of a growing Digital PR team, whose goal it is to deliver cutting-edge Digital PR campaigns for evolving underdogs as well as the big wigs.

This agency is renowned for its client-first services and has ambitious growth plans. Dark Horse believes in challenging the mob and it is looking for someone keen to deliver results while breaking industry myths and barriers. We believe top-tier media coverage shouldn’t only be possible for those with huge PR teams. Small but mighty, we aim to provide maximum value where it counts.

Roles and responsibilities

This is a hands-on role in which the successful candidate will be involved in delivering creative, newsworthy Digital PR campaigns for a variety of e-commerce and lead-gen brands. Reporting directly to the Digital PR Manager, you’ll take the lead on several clients in coming up with campaign ideas big and small, creating campaign content, sending pitches to journalists and having regular contact with clients via email and Teams calls.

We need someone who is tuned in to the current newscycle and inspired by creative marketing campaigns, both online and off. As part of our growing Digital PR team, you’ll work to secure high-quality, relevant media coverage and backlinks for your clients, helping to establish them as experts and an authority in their niche. Training can be provided to level up your Digital PR industry knowledge and experience with relevant tools, so long as you have a passion for the media and want to make a real difference to our clients.

Are we right for you?

We’re a fast-growing, search marketing agency based in Altrincham (Manchester) specialising in SEO, PPC and Paid Social. Our clients range from small, local businesses to international companies. We’re at an exciting stage of growth with new projects starting all the time and big opportunities for the right people. Altrincham is like Manchester, just smaller and less Spice. More Guardian readers probably too. Each to their own.

On the way to becoming a multi-million-pound full service digital agency. There are about 30 of us – all backgrounds, all walks of life, we will not stop. The company is accountable to clients as all should be, we embrace accountability, it allows us to show off and make a difference.

What’s on offer?

We think we’ve built a great place to work, where every individual feels rewarded for the effort they put in. Enjoy this along with:

  • Competitive salary, dependent on experience c£28k
  • Leafy Altrincham location
  • Hybrid working
  • Flexitime
  • Birthday off
  • Mental Wellbeing BUPA programme
  • Dark Horse will carbon offset your role with The Dark Forest (green is good)
  • Working in an amazing team – learning from some fantastic people
  • Other stuff too – this is mostly the small stuff we use to make us look good on LinkedIn. It’s largely irrelevant. Don’t fall for the 'Beer Tap in office' and other race to the bottom stuff. This is a career we are talking about not dusty tropes used once
